FIPbio is being developed by the Leibniz Institute of Freshwater Ecology and Inland Fisheries (IGB, Germany), the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences (BOKU, Austria), the Royal Belgian Institute of Natural Sciences (RBINS, Belgium) and the University Duisburg-Essen (UDE, Germany) in partnership with the Freshwater Research Centre (FRC, South Africa) and Kartoza (South Africa).
